Between Worlds Review

Someone always dies... Someone is always left behind...

Now that his secret is out, Michael Sinclair finally agrees to join paranormal superstar Luke Rainer and the Cemetery Tours crew on an investigation. Not just any investigation. The biggest investigation of their career.

Once home to the wealthy Sterling Hall and his beloved wife, Joanna, Stanton Hall Manor in Maine is famous for the love story that inspired it... and the ghosts who now inhabit it. For Luke and the crew, Stanton Hall is a dream come true.

Unfortunately, some dreams turn out to be nightmares.

Review

A copy of the book has been provided by the author, Jacqueline E. Smith, in exchange for an honest review.

Michael Sinclair is no ordinary man for he can see dead people.

Between Worlds is the second installment in the Cemetery Tours series and it follows our protagonist on a goose chase on a story of a ghost, Sterling Hall, and the true nature of why he has yet to pass into the afterlife.

What I love about this book is that it is electric. It gives you the current on your bones as if you were watching a show that you are fully engrossed with. It shares its sentiments with its readers and it is reality written.

The plot itself is a mystery injected in a simple and fast-paced fun story that will keep you on your toes with the mixture of different emotions. You’ll empathize with each character knowing full well their capacity and range passion for what they do.

Overall, I highly enjoyed Between Worlds. Like Cemetery Tours, this is a book you should pick up when you want to get your feet back into waters. When you are in a state of dilemma on whether what to read to get you out of that so-called “reading slump.” Fast-paced and entirely entertaining, Between Worlds is the right pick.
