It has been ages since I last read this series. I own a collection of the Winnie-the-Pooh books, though I can’t even remember if it’s a complete set or if some of them are missing.

I seem to have forgotten just how charming the characters in these stories are. They’re all funny—either incredibly innocent or incredibly dumb. I don’t think any of them are in between.
I love how the book stayed true to the style of the original illustrations, although, if my memory serves me right, some of the characters used to look a little more cartoony. This adaptation makes them look more animal-like.
Each story was illustrated really well, and the panels were super cute. If I had one complaint, it would be that some of the speech bubbles contain so much text that they’re difficult to read.
Overall, I thought this was a fun read. It was lovely to see my favourite, Eeyore, again. It was also lovely to see the cast again and be reminded of just how interesting each of them is. I’m unsure which story Tigger originally appeared in, but he’s the only member of the cast who doesn’t appear in this adaptation.
This book will definitely be one I’ll look out for whenever I want to give a child an English storybook.
