REVIEW
Talk about intense! The book picks up where Mechamaru was “healed” by Mahito and they clashed in what seems to be a Gundam epic battle.
Probably the most interesting part of this volume was this first scene—showcasing the ability and full extent of Mechamaru’s capacity as a jujutsu sorcerer. However, it does beg the question of how capable he is, was he not limited by his previous problems – given that his magic now is a reserve as a result of this limitation.
In addition, other characters were injected into the mix and their abilities are slowly being unraveled as well. I am surprised by Mei Mei. She’s one of the characters that I loved when I watched the anime and, only now, was she given a proper introduction. I’m definitely excited to get to know her more. Especially her younger brother who seems to be around her all the time. It tickles your curiosity with how powerful the kid is, given that he accompanies his sister on this dangerous mission.
Volume 10 is such a gripping story, packed with action and intriguing character arcs. Gojo’s overpowered nature shines ever so brightly here and we can see just how he is close to unstoppable.
