REVIEW

“The only thing fair about life is how unfair it is to everyone.”

An interesting volume, this book was strongly focused on Fushiguro Megumi.

Megumi is an interesting character that has a multifaceted personality. He feels whole and real with that mixture of funny yet serious bluntness to him. The depth that this character has is particularly interesting and having this volume focus on him made an intriguing pull towards the character.

Moreover, I was curious with plenty of the interactions that happened within this volume. It proposed so many questions yet it also laid down some answers from the previous story. It is an enjoyable experience how Akutami-sensei weaves his characters together and slowly unravels the relationships between them. Why a certain character is intrigued with another and all these sort of stuff.

There’s also the curious language that the new villain in the story has. I doubt that there will be any more retrospect that will be given for this part; however, if there is, I would be very much looking forward to it.

Overall, I liked this volume and I think it did well in giving us insights to the characters involved within this specific book. There were also plenty of good interaction within them that will surely make you want to read more.
