Language
Language learning has been pretty slow, but I think I have been consistent enough to not drop them on a daily basis—except *cough* Spanish *cough*
Anywho…
I have been skipping my Udemy course on Arabic and has been supplementing it by watching Youtube contents by Learn Arabic with Maha. So far, I am in part 2 of 6 of her “Read and Write ANYTHING in Arabic in only 6 lessons.” I know, weirdly specific. However, her enthusiasm really pushes me to learn the language even more.
Spanish is probably the hardest to find energy to study. Although I do have a few friends to practice the language with, I can’t tell you how boring this Udemy course I’ve got for studying. I don’t want to quit it altogether since it is helpful, but gosh it’s so boring! So far, I am 10% done with the course—which is grouped into four sections (elementary, beginner, intermediate, & advanced).
Last but definitely not the least, French.
You can say that I have quite fallen off with intensively studying the language; however, I do frequently submerge myself in French contents—be it videos, blog posts, or music and podcasts.
I do have a Udemy course for French as well. However, similar to my Spanish course, the one I got isn’t as enticing as I hoped it would be. Add that most of the closed-caption and transcript are basically useless—taking into account how much you need them to revise your activities.
Additionally, I do have a weekly conversation practice with Jean whom I met from italki (if you’re interested to also book a practice session with him). He is easily the best language learning community teacher who has an affordable price range within the application.
