Review

What an amazing read!

It has actually been quite some time since I last picked up a book that has this much useful information in it. Although, if I’m being honest, there was a point where I constantly get bored from how the book’s informational content. I know I should have been ready for it, but I was kind of expecting it to have more of a story-based approach. Now that I think about it, though, I find that that would have been a truly difficult scenario for the author to do.

So, of course, I based my rating of the book on my reading experience and not on the quality of its content. Therefore, allow some room for an open-mind when you look at this criticism and rating for the non-fiction.

Truth be told, I was lost for words with all the scientific facts and information the author shared in this work. He was thorough in trying to discuss the importance of the subject topic, the consequences of the actions human take whenever they skip on good sleep, and some great tips in trying to obtain or, at least, stay on the good side of this mystery called sleep.

If I were to pick this book up again, I will. I do, however, recommend reading this in print rather than in ebook format to allow better access to its footnotes. I believe that allowing yourself to interact with the book physically will help in easing up with the textbook feel that it has, making it a less boring of an experience to read.
